WHEN TO SWITCH FROM A STAGE 1, REAR-FACING, TO A STAGE 2, FORWARD-FACING CARSEAT?
In many countries 9/12 months and 10 kg approximately has been the norm. However, from 2011, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) now recommmends keeping your little ones rear-facing until at least 2 years old, or until they have reached the weight / height limit of the seat.

Dubai Taxi Customer Services have informed us that carseats for children under 6 years are not required by law in taxis.
